WHAT I LEARNED ABOUT TEACHING IN ONLINE ENVIRONMENTS

I learned that a Virtual Learning Environment is the set of synchronous and asynchronous interaction media, where the teaching and learning process is carried out, through a learning management system. The use of Information and Communication Technologies in education has implied a series of significant changes in the Teaching and Learning process. Within these significant changes can be highlighted the creation of Virtual Learning Environments (EVA), which give the possibility to break the barriers of space and time that exist in traditional education and allow an open interaction to the dynamics of the educational world. With the use of ICT, and from an appropriate pedagogical model, it is necessary to create conditions and facilities where the student can work at their own pace, interact with professors and students with their peers and can  appropriate knowledge, develop skills and acquire experiences, for which an environment or learning environment is used in Distance Education that responds to the needs of face-to-face interaction and facilitates access to teaching resources.
